Mysterious Booklet of Serpentine Nature
Further pushing the limits of a first gen x-carve and partnered with a history of stone carving Galdrecraft is now offering its first stonework item. The carving is an original design using familiar snake motif of a serpent chasing the sun and followed by the moon. The stone has been sanded and polished to a buttery softness before being sealed and finished using microcrystalline jewelers wax.
In the majority of world folklore the snake is a symbol of fortune, longevity, wisdom, and a ward against evil. Their penchant for eating pest species was a boon to humanity since the dawn of agriculture.
Of the artists own heritage the per-christian Celts believed wearing a snake charm or talisman would ward off all evil and was featured heavily in jewelry and other adornments.
Drawstring pouch is made in house with quilting cotton cloth.
The Mysterious Booklet of Serpentine Nature is printed in house on a high quality laser printer, cut, assembled, and foil treated. Interior pages are 20lb premium copy paper and the cover is variable 60-80lb cover paper.
